Litigation, Domestic Relations and Family Law
Sarah joined the firm in 1983 and became a partner in 1992. Sarah has extensive experience in complex business litigation as well as domestic relations matters and has advanced training in collaborative family law and divorce mediation. This combination of legal expertise gives Sarah the ability to resolve the financial and personal aspects of a broad range of family matters, either through litigation or alternative non-litigation processes including principled negotiations and collaborative processes.
Sarah represents individuals in divorce and dissolution of marriage, custody and parenting disputes, and legal issues of same sex partners. She also assists clients in negotiating and drafting prenuptial agreements and domestic partnership agreements.
Representing clients for over twenty seven years, Sarah is an experienced practitioner in the state and federal courts, domestic relations courts and juvenile courts.
Sarah recently ended her tenure as the head of the litigation practice group and continues to serve on the firm’s executive and compensation committees.
